The most recent animation that I watched was a film called 'Tangled'. 'Tangled' is a new age disney film that was released in 2010. The story is based on the classic children's novel 'Rapunzel'. The film was the 50th animated feature in the Walt Disney Animated Classics Series. 'Tangled' was marketed as gender-neutral in Disney's bid to change their typical target audience and appeal to boys as well as girls. It cost approximately $260 million to make, is said to be the most expensive animated film made and the second most expensive film made as of yet. The film has gone on to make $591.8 million in box office.
